When You Shouldn’t Choose Patterned Self Assembly Sofa?

Do you prefer patterned or plain sofas? I guess there can be arguments for either choice. A pattern draws attention to itself, particularly if large or bold, and therefore considerable thought is needed regarding other fabrics in the room if they are not to compete.
